Richard J. Olin named trustee emeritus of Casey Family Programs
The Board of Trustees has elected Richard J. Olin as trustee emeritus for his distinguished service during his tenure with the Board.
Olin joined the Board in September 2018 and retired in September 2021. Previously an executive with Costco Wholesale, Olin also brought deep experience working for child- and family-serving organizations when he joined the Board. He has served on the board of Treehouse, a Seattle-based nonprofit that provides essential support services for youth in foster care, and previously was director of youth and family services for Youth Eastside Services in east King County, Washington, where he later served as a board member. Olin has served on the clinical faculty at the University of Washington’s Graduate School of Social Work, was on the board of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska and Washington, and was an attorney in private practice at Foster Pepper.
At Casey, he lent his expertise to the Board in support of our work in Child and Family Services and Indian Child Welfare Programs.
